"Chagall in Israel: Exploring Chagall's Artist & Spiritual Legacy " presented by Vivian R. Jacobson.

Lunch is provided by Magnolia Glen for those who Rsvp to JCC by May 20 or until registration is full.

Chagall's bond with his Hasidic Jewish heritage was lifelong, as was his connection to the State of Israel. This presentation discusses his multiple artistic pilgrimages to Israel, as illustrated by examples of his stunning artwork.

During the last eleven years of Chagall's life Vivian R. Jacobson worked with him closely on major international projects. She has been a speaker on Marc Chagall for the North Carolina Humanities Council Forum in conjunction with the National Endowment of the Arts since 2001,and has lectured on Chagall in Europe, Israel and the US.
