- Donor Advised Funds - If you have a D.A.F. you may designate the Jewish Federation of Greater Raleigh as a recipient of your allocations.
- IRA distribution - If you are over the age of 72, you may designate the Jewish Federation of Greater Raleigh as a recipient of your charitable contributions up to $100,000.
- Stock transfers - Making your annual campaign gift via charitable stock contributions enables you to deduct the full market value of the stock that you are donating, without paying capital gains tax.
  For a stock transfer: the required information for your banking institution is below. We also ask that an email be sent to finance@shalomraleigh.org with the details of what is being transferred, estimated dollar amount and timing of transfer; otherwise, we have no idea if/when the stock may be arriving and from whom. This notification is something that either you can do, or you can ask your broker to take care of the notification process (it depends on the type of firm you use – full-service to modest-service to self-service).
