Join us as Susan McGuire, a representative from Wake County SHIIP, Senior Health Insurance Information Program, provides information about Medicare plan options. Learn about what is available and how to make decisions to meet your needs.
Susan McGuire is the Senior Care coordinator for Resources for Seniors, a 501 C3 serving Wake County. She is the Wake County coordinator for NC Department of Insurance Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP.) Her office is located at the City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation, Five Points Center for Active Adults. She has worked in the field of aging since 2000. Her work includes developing and facilitating programs for adults on healthy aging. She meets one-on-one with people to assist them in finding the resources they need for living a safe and healthy life. Susan is a graduate from NCSU with a Masters degree in Family Life and Youth Development, and she specializes in gerontology and coaching.
This program is offered free of charge; please consider a voluntary $5/person fee to help us offset our costs. Registration is required by 10/17 to help us plan properly.
