In the 1930s a Warsaw shopkeeper published lyrics of the biggest Yiddish theater hits of his time. Sometimes droll, sometimes nostalgic, these once-famous songs disappeared after the Holocaust. Singer and author Jane Peppler spent three years searching out their melodies, and will talk about her research and sing the songs, providing subtitles so you don't miss a thing!
