Program Description: Come have fun with your PJ Library friends and explore the newly opened Gibson Play Plaza! Let's meet close to the Fountain Plaza, which is described as a "grand stair with amphitheater-like seating that leads down to the civic plaza with its interactive waterfall wall and splash pad."
Feel free to have children (and adults!) wear bathing suits, as well as bring a towel and change of clothes. We will have snacks and popsicles to cool off!

Program Description: Join us for a pre-Passover celebration at the PJ Bagel Brunch! We will enjoy a meal full of bagels and chametz one last time before Passover starts the following evening. There will be Passover themed crafts and activities available for the little ones. Additionally, a PJ Library Passover story will be read at 11:00.

Program Description: PJ Around Town is coming to Cary to get together at Bumble Brews! Open play rates are covered for kids and the first drink for their grown-up is also on PJ Library. The indoor play space at Bumble Brews is designed for young babies and toddlers, so it is the perfect place to let your little one(s) play while you get to know other parents in the local Jewish community.
Adults and children must wear SOCKS ONLY in the play area (no shoes or bare feet). If you forget socks, there are some available to purchase at Bumble Brews for $2 for both children and adults. Shoes are fine to be worn in the cafe area. This event is free and open to the PJ Library community. Registration in advance is highly encouraged.

Program Description: PJ Around Town is coming to downtown Raleigh at Pullen Park! There will be a PJ Library story time before lunch and then a ride on the train, which is also included with this event. We will bring some kid friendly snacks (fruit, vegetable tray, cheese, hummus, crackers, cookies), but feel free to bring any additional food for lunch.
This event is free and open to anyone in the PJ Library community. Registration is highly encouraged to ensure enough food is brought to the event (don't forget to include yourself). Pullen Park has different playgrounds and structures for children of all ages, which you are encouraged to use after the train ride.

Program Description: The Jewish Federation of Greater Raleigh is headed to Western Wake County, and we would love to see you there! We have a shelter reserved at an Apex park, so bring your lunch and eat with other families in your local Jewish community. The Jewish Federation will bring ice cream and popsicles for a sweet treat! All treats will be kosher along with dairy and nut-free options for those with allergies, but feel free to bring your own. Program Description: Did you know that you can get reimbursed by PJ Library to hang out with your friends and do something Jewish? It's true! The Get Together grant program is back from August 28, 2023-June 7, 2024. PJ Library and PJ Our Way families who host an approved Get Together with two or more families (other than their own) and submit a reimbursement report will receive up to $100. Families can receive up to three financial reimbursements for this round of Get Togethers.
Get Togethers can be anything families want to do to celebrate Jewish life with two or more families (other than their own) raising Jewish children with a maximum of 10 families. In the past, families have held Get Together events to celebrate Jewish holidays or Shabbat/Havalah, volunteer as a group, complete service projects, or something else that's Jewish related. Parent-only and PJ Our Way gatherings are eligible as well!
This event is to learn about the Get Together grant process from application to reimbursement, answer any questions you have, give ideas and insights to what a great Get Together entails, and to meet other people wanting to celebrate Jewish life with their families! "This will take place over Zoom and will be recorded to share with anyone that was unable to make it. The Zoom meeting information will be sent to you the week of the event after receiving your registration."

The play space does not allow shoes and socks must be worn by both children and adults in the area. There will be coffee and socks available for purchase during this time. There will also be a quick PJ Library story time with a book geared towards younger children.
