We sat down to talk with CEO (and Federation board member) Mark Wiener, to learn more about his connection to the Federation and his company.

Q: What’s a fun fact about you? 

As a personal contributor, I’ve been involved in the Jewish Federation since 2002 when my kids started with soccer. I’ve been involved in almost every role since then! I see it as a path to build a community and that’s where I end up giving most of my volunteer time.

Q: Why did you want to support the Jewish Federation? 

Our business is helping develop a vibrant Jewish community with better opportunities, both personally and professionally.

Q: What do you want our community to know about your business? 

Our goal is to transform the idea that IT is a cost center to that of a profit center. Allowing companies to leverage sound and secure infrastructure and practices to improve the opportunities for their business.

Q: Describe your business and history in the Triangle. 

We started in 2001 in the triangle. We are a managed cloud IT cybersecurity and compliance company. What we do is help people be operationally efficient and secure. We work with companies of all sizes, but predominantly midsize. We have customers with one employee and customers with 450,000 employees, but most are 50-500.
